Here is my favorite "Vista Point" to see the daybreak. In the dawn, walk up the long stairs (tiptoe to not bother islanders' sleep), sit on the top of stairs and wait. Yacht harbor and the pier looks fuzzy and dissolving into the purple ocean. Sip a coffee and pet cats while waiting. The color of the sky gradually changes to pink-gold. Finally, the light through rolling hills of Miura Peninsula tint everything gold and reflect on the white lighthouse. It is the best way to start a day in Enoshima.
