The winter is coming, but we are still enjoying warm temperature (the upper 50s) in the Shonan area. We had quite heavy snowfall in November 2016, which was very rare in the area. Public traffic systems became chaos and people had a hard time back their homes. However, some brave ones walked to Enoshima and enjoyed the rare and beautiful scene of Nakatsu-no-Miya (the middle shrine of Enoshima shrines) dressed in snow.
